Deborah A. Carman is the founder of the Carman Law Firm, P.A., a South Florida law firm centrally located in downtown Boca Raton. Ms. Carman has been in practice in the State of Florida for over 28 years. She is engaged in a civil practice, with an emphasis on Foreclosure Defense, Business Closings, Personal Injury, Real Estate and Corporate Work. She is also the owner and President of Palm Title Services, Inc., a full service Title Company serving Florida for over 25 years.

Deborah A. Carman received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Newcomb College and her Law degree from Tulane University in New Orleans in 1983. After graduation, she was house counsel for a major insurance company, and in 1986 she started her own firm in Boca Raton.
Ms. Carman, is a member of the Florida Bar Association, American Bar Association, a Past President of the Broward County Woman Lawyers Association, Realtor Association of South Palm Beach County, Woman’s Council of Realtors, Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce Past Leads Group Chairperson, has served on the Board of Trustees for the Florida Philharmonic, the Commercial Realtors Society of Palm Beach County, the Chairperson of the Boca Raton Community Relations Board , Rotary International, and is on the Board of the Boca Raton Children’s Museum and regularly teaches contracts classes for the Palm Beach County Board of Realtors.
Kenneth P. Carman of counsel to the firm is an AV rated attorney and has practiced in the area of insurance defense litigation since 1978. As house counsel and regional counsel for two major insurance companies, Mr. Carman litigated the companies’ high exposure lawsuits including products liability, premises claims and automobile negligence claims. He also has a wide range of experience in interpreting coverage and policy issues. Upon entering private practice, Mr. Carman continued his representation of insurance companies and their insured in major defense related litigation with an additional emphasis on the defense of employment and civil rights actions as well as other constitutional claims in both State and Federal Courts. Mr. Carman shares this expertise regularly by giving seminars in both the insurance and governmental areas. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Nova Southeastern School of Law. Mr. Carman is an active member of Defense Research Institute and The Florida Defense Lawyers Association.
